    ABOUT THE COLLEGE


    Christian minority educational trust was established with an objective of providing quality teacher education to the poor sector of people living in and around Alangudi (Tk), Pudukkottai(Dt). Based on the objective the trust established the St.Xaviers College of Education in 2008 in Venkatakulam, in a pollution free, natural, vast campus with the motto “LEARN AND RECEIVE”.

    Recognition by the NCTE, southern regional committee was granted in 2008 and the college was initialy affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli during 2007-2008 subsequently from 2008-2009 the college was a affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University  Chennai with  the code number 11619.

    The College has two Unit of B.Ed., and every year we admit 100 students and offer B.Ed., course for Tamil, English, Mathematics, Biological Science, Physical Science, History, Economics, Commerce and Accountancy, Computer Science.
